Welcome to ADULIS Learn. By visiting adulis.app, using the web app at learntigrinya.app, or downloading, installing or using the ADULIS Learn app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ADULIS Learn.
ADULIS Learn teaches Eritrean Tigrinya — reading, speaking and writing, starting with the fidel (Ge'ez script). It is provided by The SIUM Group and includes:
ADULIS Learn is available as a web app in your browser and, during our beta, through Google Play testing and Apple TestFlight.
ADULIS Learn is currently in early access. Features, content and availability may change, and some features (for example, voice input in the Travel companion) work only in certain browsers or on certain devices. We welcome feedback at the address below.
ADULIS Learn does not currently require an account. Your learning progress is stored on your own device. If account features are added in future, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
Some content is free, including the first Fundamentals reading group and the free practice sheets. Other content may in future require a subscription or one-time purchase. We will show prices clearly before you buy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
All content in ADULIS Learn — including lesson text, audio recordings, curriculum structure, Culture guide text, images, the ADULIS name and the ስ mark — belongs to The SIUM Group or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
The free practice sheets may be printed and shared for personal, family, church and classroom use, provided they are not sold and the ADULIS credit is kept.

The Travel companion matches what you say or type to a set of phrases written and recorded by native speakers. If your words do not match a phrase, it will tell you rather than guess. Phrases are provided to help you communicate; please use your judgement in important situations.
Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. See our Privacy Policy for how this works.
Descriptions of places, history and legends in the Culture guide are provided for general interest. We aim for accuracy, but details such as opening hours, events and current use of buildings can change. Please check locally before you travel.
ADULIS Learn links to app stores and to our social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not these terms.
ADULIS Learn is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Language learning results depend on individual effort and practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The SIUM Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, ADULIS Learn.
We may update these terms as ADULIS Learn develops. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use ADULIS Learn after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
